RecommendedFinally got to eat at the Swig & Swine restaurant in Charleston, SC. Everything was homemade and very, very delicious! The pork rinds and fried pickles were fresh and fried to order. The pimento cheese and the cole slaw were the best that I have ever eaten. All of the meats were fresh and smoked (sausage links, shredded pork, brisket and pork belly) and were so tasty. Many sauces to chose from and all are gluten free. Pulled pork and Brunswick Stew were yummy! Great service. Relaxed and comfortable atmosphere.
If you are looking for some good old wholesome barbecue soul food.... swig and swine is the place!!

Meats had a wonderful smoked flavor. Sweet Red Jalapeño BBQ Sauce was excellent. Banana Pudding fantastic. My only complaint would be that my Brisket Grilled Cheese Sandwich had a bit too much fat on the meat for my taste.
