I asked Siri for “the best barbecue in Charleston” and Swig & Swine did not disappoint! I came in expecting to stick with the brisket. But, when I saw smoked pork belly, I had to try it. Both were chock full of fatty, delicious gluttony and melt in your mouth. While admittedly not for everyone, I highly recommend both! The coleslaw and pickled veggies were also incredibly good. Came in for Sausage Saturday. Had the sausage and cheddar special with the Brussels and Pork belly. The Margarita was fresh and delicious. Joanne was a great server.
Great food and excellent staff. This is definitely an underrated bbq place in Charleston!
Missed the 5 star cause after I ate a good portion of the delicious food a roach decided to also join the party. Now I completely understand where I am. However something should have been done here as a restaurant because we spent good money and was told well your in SC. Thats great have you been to NYC I aint never seen a roach in a place i ate at and i know damn well they would have overwhelminglyappologized. And there roaches are the size of small dogs.
