I can't believe this shithole has stayed in business for as long as it has. I'm glad they've been outed as the shithead racist schmucks they are.
I've been going to Swig for years and I have never had a problem... whether that's getting in, getting a table, getting a drink, or getting treated with respect & dignity. And I'm a brother, who has brought several other black folk there throughout the years with no "dress code" discouragement or drama. In fact, I recommend other black folk go there because it's one of the the few places on that strip of Milwaukee that by its chill vibe, and the music they bump, that I figure they must be trying to woo us in, lol.
If y'all have racist bouncers, I don't want anything to do with y'all. Fix it or gtf outta Chicago
Anyone who follows my Snapchat knows how I feel about SWIG. � Awesome draft list (zombie dust), great vegetarian menu options (try the hummus), and a home-base vibe (exposed brick, red lights, pool table in the back). What's really special about this place is the community it fosters. I've met many bar-friends turned real-friends at SWIG. �

Rascist and extremely rude. They do not like African American people. Especially the security guard.
This place is racist. They told our friend he couldn't come in because he was wearing a white shirt and they have a "dress code." Except there were 7 guys behind the bouncer wearing plain white shirts. Only difference? Our friend is black. Go to hell, Swig. I hope you get closed down.

I've been coming here for 2 years & the idea that the owner or anyone on staff is racist is absolutely ridiculous. This place is great in terms of drinks, food, & people. My only regret is i can only give 5 stars
