After confirming the appointment twice and ensuring he knew what the problem was - arrived at the dentist office (due to traffic I was 15 minutes late, however I called to let them know). As I arrive after leaving work early and driving an hour, he informs me that he cant fix my tooth because it does not have enough time plus it is late in day. WHAT??? I've been going to Dr. Swerdlick for years and he's the best! He truly makes me feel at ease and is very professional. His office is conveinent to get to and he always makes sure the job is done right. I hope he never retires because in a sea of dentists in the Boston area he is someone who gets the business and people side of this job.

Dr. Swerdlick converted me from a terrified dentophobic to a full-fledged dento-evangelist. A few years ago, down-and-out and new to the city, I had no health insurance and a very dangerous tooth issue developing in my jaw. Dr. Swerdlick was willing to see me, despite my marked lack of insurance and status as a lowly, completely broke grad student. I just went in for a cleaning and routine check up, if that's what you're looking for Dr. Swerdlick is great! He was very friendly and made me feel comfortable and at ease. What I liked most about him was that he didn't push unnecessary dental procedures on me like some dentists have. He was honest about what I needed to get done and was great at making sure I understood everything clearly. I had a great experience with Dr Swerdlick. He greeted me at the desk and engaged my husband and I in conversation while I filled out paperwork. He was very thorough and made me feel very comfortable during my visit. If you like an old school approach and don't care about state of the art office, this is your place. I am not impressed by flat screen tv's, brand new chairs, etc, what does impress me is a dentist who pays attention to my concerns and exhibits compassion and professionalism. I would recommend Dr. Swerdlick!
