This became my favorite coffee shop after one visit last fall! I am a cold brew gal, and I did indeed dream of their dreamy cold brew after the first time I had it. I recently got the $6 breakfast sandwich and coffee combo ($7 for me because I upgraded to the dreamy cold brew), and it was such a good deal. The people are friendly, and it's not too bad a walk from the Capitol Visitors Center garage if you can't find street parking (or don't wanna pay). Going back to the same place twice in a row on a trip feels a little like cheating… unless it’s this good. We ended up at Sweetwaters Coffee & Tea two days straight, and I didn’t even pretend to branch out. I ordered the exact same thing both times: the spinach feta pretzel melt. The coffee was very good and the people working were so friendly and joyful!
Really cool place and not as loud as some of the other coffee shops in the area so good for remote work. Also nice outdoor seating.
