Sweetbriar Assisted Living is a wonderful and active community to live in. The staff are very involved in the care of their residents and they have great activities for the residents to be apart of. They recently remodeled the facility and it is truly inviting, comfortable and up to date. Stop in for a visit and see the community. You will enjoy!

I have been with sweetbriar now for almost a year and a half. It is a pleasure to go to work and take care of the facility for all of our residents. I have seen first hand the love and care that is given by our staff to each and everyone that calls sweetbriar home
My mother has been a resident at SweetBriar going on 4 Years. In the past and the present she has had excellent care. We have a NEW director now and things are changing to make the residents feel more like home, such as new cushions and new fans on the front porch, new pictures in all the hallways and living room. Sweetbriar is woefully under staffed. A terrible place to work. They force cna's to work 16 hour shifts. None of my residents had wipes unless they were provided by the family. On many , many occasions my residents had no depends. I was told to "borrow " from others. Worst place I've ever worked for staff and residents. Do not take your loved one to live at Sweetbriar in Dunbar!!! Most of the residents are neglected because it is impossible for one cna or ra to take care of 10-20 people with dementia at once.
