For the past year we have been including Sweet Retreat’s cake balls in all our special events, including a Sip & See to welcome our 3rd baby girl and all of our daughters’ birthday parties! Most recently I ordered them for a Valentine’s Make & Take that I threw to pamper all my girlfriends for Valentine’s Day and they were a hit!! Delicious as always, such friendly customer service and beautifully decorated, we will be life-long customers without a doubt!
For my daughters birthday I ordered Rick & Morty cupcakes. I was told by the order taker that they've done this theme often. I was given options of fondant or edible images. I was wary about not having a photo to reference to help me decide between fondant or edible images. I was given the impression that the edible image creations' quality would be nice. We just had a Shih Tzu Rescue meeting today and one of our volunteers bought custom cupcakes from Sweet Retreat to bring to the meeting. There were two kinds: one with the most adorable Shih Tzu, furry faces and the other was our logo in fondant. Not only were these cupcakes adorable and beautiful, they were the best cupcakes and frosting that I have ever tasted. I am not a frosting person, but it was so delicious, I ate it like it was an ice cream cone! :) (see photo below in comments)
I ordered my baby sisters birthday cake with two dozen of cupcakes it looked amazing and tasted amazing !
Tuesday I decided to support Wifey in her errands. So I asked, Permission to tag-a-long? Her face light up. Our 1st stop was Sweet Retreat. Seeing so many artistically scrumptious looking cupcakes almost sent me into convulsions! I wanted the Lemon, Wifey had German Chocolate. The 1st bite sent me to cupcake Valhalla! Wifey wanted to tasted mine and I said, NO GET YOUR OWN! The look on her face, made me feel so ashamed. But, after the 2nd bite, I was fine! 😉 Sweet Retreat, we'll be back! We SURRENDER TO SWEET RETREAT!
I got to taste so many delicious cupcakes today! It was hard to choose just 3 for our wedding day. We loved that we were able to easily include choices for our vegan and gluten free loved ones too. Very happy we chose them and to support a local small business!
I ordered a 6" vanilla cake with buttercream frosting for a birthday cake May, 11, 2017. It was one of the BEST tasting cakes I've had in my life (and I'm 56 years old)! The cake was very moist, delicious, and pretty. I highly recommend Sweet Reteat to anyone.
Stopped in Sweet Retreat shortly before closing time and was welcomed with amazing customer service when I inquired about a large future order. Got home with my cupcakes and literally just ate the best cupcake I've ever had. Salted Caramel. So good.
