Great Service - Very good food - Great Prices - Not huge portions – We were recommended to Sweeney's and had a large group of ten with us when we visited on a Friday night. Can't be a Restaurant When There's No Food – My Fiancee and I decided to try Sweeney's even after hearing mixed reviews from our friends and relatives. Unfortunately we had a hard time siding with those who had positive reviews. Excellent seafood. – First off all, let me say that the person who didn't seem impressed and compared it to Red Lobster?!? I just don't know what to say. Personally, I find Red Lobster revolting and to compare this place to a Red Lobster, to me invalidates that persons review. about average – I tried Sweeneys while i was in Dayton on business, and found it to be average and not up to the 8.8 rating that it has. the service was great the food was ok but only on par with a Red Lobester.and it is a little pricey.
wonderful seafood! – We had such wonderful service. The service was great. The food was was one of the best seafood we have had in a long time! The stuff mushrooms are a must to try! Everthing was served fresh and hot. It is a shame that it is 6 hours from us!
