Rosie (delivery doctor) and Kelsie (delivery nurse) are a duo from hell. The day shift was absolutely amazing but as soon as these two stepped into my birth experience, everything turned sour so fast. They completely disregarded my very simple birth plan and did as they pleased. You can say you “do not consent” to whatever you’d like but it doesn’t matter. They’re going to do what they want. Unprofessional experience. The midwife was rushing my delivery and was not clearly explaining what was happening. When it was time to push, she insisted I start pushing even though the baby was not in the right position yet. I also asked my husband if he wanted to eat dinner before we started. Before he could even answer, she said to me in a loud, passive-aggressive tone, “Are you taking care of him?!” What kind of healthcare provider says something like that during such a vulnerable and important family moment?
I had a very positive experience for the birth of my child. I felt respected and well cared. The Swedish midwives are amazing! -- Coming back to add a second awesome birth experience at Swedish midwifery group! <3
I had such a wonderful first pregnancy experience here I started with the midwife, but my pregnancy became high-risk so I had to be switched over to the OB’s and despite how scary everything was I’m so grateful that I chose to go with Swedish Issaquah because they made the experience so peaceful and kept us reassured the entire time. We also can’t say thank you enough to the Nicu nurses that took care of our son for an entire month♥️
I had a really nice experience with midwifery last week. So glad I chose here. Staffs are so nice. Thanks to Michele for patiently helping me address many of my concerns.
