The hospital is dirty. The bathroom floor is full of dirt in the grout. The staff is lack of days ago. They don’t pick anything up off the floor. They don’t clean up the room. The doctors care was pretty good. The nurses were pretty good. I’d never go over there again.
I wanted to share the amazing experience. I had yesterday at Swedish Hospital emergency room. As I entered the main building at the front desk, one lady was very kind and empathetic as I told her I needed to be seen from a fall from the previous day, which I was an excruciating pain and immediately told me not to move as she went to fetch a wheelchair for me and took me right up to the emergency room. The staff are nothing short of incredible. We have had experience with the staff in Neuro ICU (top notch), step down Neuro, and now Acute Rehab. Each and every nurse, tech, aide, PA, nutritionist, speech/PT/OT are extremely dedicated and committed to what they do. My Dad is not the easiest patient but he has still been treated with kindness and patience. The staff at Swedish are angels on earth! We also appreciate the case workers who check in regularly. Super nice hospital! Had an amazing experience getting surgery here. The OR nurses were incredible as was anesthesia and my surgeon. Excellent care, and if you’re nice to them they’ll be nice to you.
I just had hip surgery with Dr. White at Swedish. If you want to be taken care of by amazing nurses who really care about their patients and are kind, compassionate, knowledgeable, and attentive, Swedish is where you want to be. I cannot say enough amazing things about this hospital and my experience there on the orthopedic floor.
