My daughter is bipolar 1 and has been off her meds and homeless for the last month. I didn't know where she was. She was picked up by police in ****** for erratic psychiatric behavior on 1/14 and they took her to Swedish hospital. She has been hospitalized over 20 times and has 3 suicide attempts. She told them she wanted to kill herself. This was told to me by the doctor there. The reason why I gave 2 stars instead on no stars is because there were a few good nurses, but overall our experience at Swedish hospital was horrible. My husband had a heart attack and was transferred from Rose Medical Hospital to Swedish Hospital.1.The bed that the ambulate company was given to take him to already had someone in it and it took nursing staff 20 minutes to find another bed.2.The hospital is under construction and signs are not updated. I had an appointment at 9am today at Swedish Family Medicine located at 601E. Hampden Ave., Englewood. I pulled in or rather attempted to pull into the from of the building to use Valet Srv.and there was NO Valet around anywhere. What was around were dumb drivers who felt their needs came before anyone and blocked anyone coming in from Hampden and why you ask?? NO VALET!! I was recently diagnosed with a brain aneurysm and was referred to Dr. Ian Kaminsky at Swedish Medical Center in Englewood. This was going to be the very first surgery I have ever had in my life so to say I was terrified is an understatement. Everyone from the Doctor, the anesthesiologist, the techs and all of the nurses & staff were phenomenal in calming my fears and making sure that all of my questions were answered. I went to the emergency room at the Swedish branch on *********************************************** the date was 10/7/2021 at about 7:30 pm. After about 30 minutes I was taken back to a room. I full explained I was having severe upper back spasms. They did nothing for about another ***************************************** and again I explained that I have had a history of these occurrences since my mid 20's I am now 73. Disrespectful, outdated, irresponsible---these are the first words that come to mind when thinking of my experience at Swedish as well as in dealing with the billing from Swedish. One department does not speak to another nor do they have a centralized system in place. This is reprehensible given how easily accessible these systems are. RecommendedOutstanding knowledgeable and wonderful staff! I went in several months ago to get shots in the base of my thumbs for severe arthritis pain at the Burn.and Reconstructive Hand Center at Swedish. The doctor - Dr. Syre?? did an amazing job skillfully using sonogram to properly.place the needle. I left the office without ANY PAIN whatsoever! once again, I was treated with upmost care and concern. pretty silly when you'd rather stay one more night cause the staff are so wonderful. all involved in my surgery were just fabulous and i just cant say enough good here. my surgery was hardware removal with Dr syre at 11am and ANYONE involved in my care...God bless you and you all should get a big fat raise!!! thank yall from my heart!!!
