Great place! Economical, charming, good breakfast - check, check, check! The Inn is older, but well-loved and super quaint. The breakfast makes you feel like you're in Europe. But the best part is the lovely staff. Truly genuine people. The location is great. Lindsborg makes for a lovely, quick getaway. We have now rented the entire Inn for a retreat twice and they met our expectations and more both times.

So many things to say, but I'll keep it short. The sink was broken, u had to hold the stopper up with your fingers. The air conditioner was broken and dripped in the middle of the entrance hallway. The door knob was almost broken, causing the key to get stuck almost everytime. They did put a floor air conditioner in the room that took up precious floor space and sounded like a jet taking off at JFK. The only good thing I can say is the staff was very nice, except the owner who was a nasty piece of work I hope no one has to d... read more

We stayed here for a relaxing New Year's Eve. It was cozy and comfortable and amazingly charming. The breakfast was delicious and fun and we loved that it was prepared by an actual Swedish woman. We plan to come back for sure and stay again in the lovely honeymoon (Stockholm) suite. Couldn't recommend it enough.

We love staying at the Swedish Country Inn every chance we can. Whether it's a stopover on our way from Oklahoma to Colorado, or a few days enjoying the town of Lindsborg, we are always met by friendly staff and a lovely town. Perfect place for a relaxing getaway.

However, I found the upstairs room difficult because there is no elevator. I was traveling with a double bass, but I was able to leave it out of harm's way in the hotel lobby. Breakfast was good. Room comfortable. Staff friendly and helpful, except they wouldn't or couldn't carry my Bass upstairs. Good location in the center of town. Parking on the street was okay if you got in early enough to get a space. I had to park a block away one night. All in all, not bad, and probably the best of the three hostels options in Lindsbo... read more
