Amazing experience here at Swedish Edmonds. All of the nurses we're amazing, extremely kind, helpful, and knowledgeable. They were very verbal about what they were doing and what their plans were during our labor, so nothing ever happened we didn't know about. Water broke and showed up for a normal delivery. No attempt to rush labor by doctors, overall took ~28 hours. Would birth here again lol.
Very disappointed in the induction process. Being canceled twice. Due to not enough staff Rude when called in to find out when I would be rescheduled agin. Very disappointing and unnecessary stress
Terrible experience. First the nurse wrote the wrong birth weight of the baby. Then they discussed with me that the baby's weight has dropped 9% do you want to express colostrum and feed the baby and try first or give formula directly. I said let me express colostrum and see how it goes. I was getting a good 10 ml colostrum after bf the baby. just like the previous reviewer the positives for me were the actual delivery doctors and some of the nurses but unfortunately my experience was negatively tainted with scolding and unempathetic nurses. when i arrived at triage i was treated very poorly by one of the nurses. (wish i would’ve gotten her name). not only did she poke me twice to get my IV in (despite me having really good veins), she also yelled at me to breathe when i was in the middle of heavy contractions. i arrived in distress in clear labor & she asked me ... read more
