She became my Dr. when my husband saw her, asked me about various referrals, and her choices always included choices I MADE!! I started seeing her, the first few visits were getting details, open issues, tests for existing issues, follow up from ER, and referrals for things she thought needed a specialist. I was referred to Dr. Mungekar about 6 years ago, by my wonderful doctor, Stacey Hein, when she changed to concierge care. I was young and didn’t need that level of care so I registered with Dr. Mungekar. She has great bedside manner, is very kind and easy to talk to about whatever I need. When I first went to her, I had terrible postpartum depression and anxiety and she worked with me to get the proper meds to help me during that time. Dr Mungekar was my mother’s doctor. Now, she is my doctor. She is thorough in her exams, and doesn’t hesitate to hold me accountable when I fail to follow her advice. She works hard to keep me on the pathway to better health. I appreciate her efforts.
