Since my Uncle Al started this restaurant in 1947, Swanky Franks has had the honor and pleasure of serving the residents of Lower Fairfield County, as well as countless passersby from I 95. What made Swanky Franks so special, was not only that Uncle Al served his customers only the best quality hot dogs and other famous fare available during that time, but also that he made each of his customers feel like part of the family. unique I so agree with the other reviewer. Great food & friendly staff make it worth the trip. Easy to grab a quick lunch during the busy work week & great place to bring the kids on weekend.
Great Greasy Spoon This place is literally a dive but the food is good and fast. They pretty much have burgers and hotdogs, french fries and onion rings and soda. Don't expect anything fancy. Parking is a challenge.

Swanky Franks – Swanky Frank's definately has the best burgers, hot dogs, and cheesesteaks in Southwestern Connecticut. The place might be a dump but it has very friendly service and great food which makes it loveable.
