They are friendly, welcoming, fun, and extremely good at what they do. I have consistently had amazing cuts and color jobs time after time. Great experience at Swank! – I had my hair cut and highlighted today (3/6/2010) at Swank Salon, and walked away completely satisfied. Everyone was really friendly and the atmosphere was relaxed and comfortable. The receptionist was very sweet, and the owner even stopped by to chat for a few minutes. My hair looks great and I couldn't be happier. The stylist I had (initials HH) was fantastic and did exactly what I asked her to. I will definitely be going back there, and would recommend this salon to others!

Horrible, rude, awful – Well, where do I start? I only decided to try this place cause my ex recommended it. First of all the old lady at the front desk is horribly rude, I called to ask for directions because I got a little mixed up trying to find it and she was so crude and rude. Then I had to wait 25 minutes beyond my appointment time to get started and they didn't even offer to refill my wine glass. Hmmmph!!! Not a good experience – In my opinion, I would not recommend this salon to anyone ever again! I was a former client (mostly of the esthetician that has now gone elsewhere) for a few years. I recently called to make an appointment with the former esthetician and was told by one of the hairdressers that they have no idea where she went. I know this is not true because she had worked there for many years and is wonderful, consistent, reliable and has an incredible clientele. Progressively getting worst – I had been getting my hair done at Swank salon for the last few years and used to absolutely love it. A few years ago the other reviews on here would have reflected my opinion but as of last week I will never return to Swank. I've spent a couple thousand dollars a year at Swank for too long to be continually treated the way I have been treated the last few years. If you're picky, this place is perfect – I was referred to Swank by my coworker and fell in love. For four years I would only fly home to MN to get my hair done, but I found this place and it's perfect. I have blonde hair, which is hard to do well, and Nicole is amazing. The salon is impeccibly clean, prices are more than fair and they use great product. You wont be pressured into buying anything "extra", either. This place is a hidden jewel. Deserves a "Best of Phoenix" award
