Honest Pros and Cons of Svigos property on Talman Avenue: CONS: (1) They spray more than 3 times a month for roaches. Constantly entering your apartment and filling it up with toxic chemicals. I've requested information on the chemicals. They don't respond. They do not adhere to the 2 day notice minimum required BY LAW before entering the apartment. They show up anyways. See for yourself. Now it’s 2 days after the snow storm. One photo shows the sidewalk in front of my building, which is managed by Svigos. The other shows every other sidewalk in the neighborhood or basically the majority of sidewalks in the city. Which is which? You can guess. Choose Svigos if you enjoy ice skating.
RUN if you find a property run by this company. Frank was our agent. When touring the apartment, he was not only late but also remained nearly silent throughout the tour. He didn’t introduce the apartment and simply gave positive answers to everything we asked. Once we signed the lease, Frank disappeared completely. Every time we need maintenance, it takes forever to get a response. However, when we asked Frank about this during our tour, he said it usually takes 2–3 days. This person is a flat-out liar. Would give a half star if I could. Little regard for maintenance requests and the overall upkeep of the property and apartment.
