Dr. Adler, from my experience, is quite attentive and thorough. After I do lab tests that she orders, I always get a note the next business day about my results and any changes in medication. During our video appointments, she takes copious notes, and as I said earlier, is thorough with her examination and questions. I appreciate that she doesn’t judge, condescend, nag or discourage me as a patient. Instead, she subtly urges me to be better with my diet and exercise, but doesn’t admonish me when I fall off the wagon.
My husband called on Wednesday MORNING for an insulin refill becasue he is a type I diabetic who uses a pump. Because our insurance had changed mail order pharmacies, his insulin didn't get filled. Since the pharmacy said it would take 5-7 days for insulin to be mailed, we asked the office for a bridge prescription to be filled at a local pharmacy. There's a reason that it takes a while to get on her calendar. She is a great doctor who is very attentive to her patients, so naturally, she is in demand. She is very responsive to emails as well.
