The owner is a crook and liar. I honestly don’t know how they are sill open. The staff I encountered both times where rude. If you are in the Aiken area and need your boat serviced or fix go to hires marine. This guy is a waste of good oxygen.
I brought my boat to Sutton for warranty work after the dealership that I originally bought it from dropped the ball for the third time. Ed and Erin not only got me running but they put on a customer service clinic while doing so. They had to juggle between several service reps from multiple manufacturers to get my boat back on the water. I can't thank them enough. Sutton Marine is a perfect example of small town, local business hospitality. They have my business indefinitely.

Buying a new boat can be stressful and difficult if dealing with the wrong people. Ed and everyone at Sutton make you feel like one of the family. Taking great care in explaining all your options and getting you into the perfect boat. Ed spent many conversations answering questions and putting our minds at ease. Went in today for parts to replace lower gear oil in outboard motor. Mr Sutton himself helped me. He helped me find all the parts I needed to do the job and the price was less than what was offered on amazon. He also coached me on replacing the lower gear oil. I went home and performed the task with no problems. Thank you Mr Sutton for your help.
I dropped of a motor for repair. I told them I expected the carb needed to be cleaned and if it was going to be more than a couple hundred dollars they should call me before doing the work. After 2 weeks and hearing nothing I started calling every week. I got still working on it. The mechanic told me he cleaned the carb 17 times and still wasn't idling right.
