They should have told me the difficulties in stretchinng the carpet before recommending cleaning it. I might not have cleaned it if I knew the difficulties in stretching it, which is why I called them in the first place

The carpet usually has to be cleaned prior to stretching as it can become somewhat more taut after cleaning. then it can be properly evaluated. Customer was told at outset that there were issues with stretching due to built in furniture and fragility of formica.

I had a carpet that was too big for my kitchen that I wanted to cut down. Diane recommended I just fold it under because it would cost more than the carpet to cut and bind properly. I have followed her advice, although I do have to say that I can still feel the folds under my feet so kind of bummed about that...maybe I'll get used it it.
