Long wait, 2 hrs at Westside facility & once in exam room still a 1/2 hr wait. Staff was wonderful once in & Dr. Erica Brown took time to analyze a sports injury so I was happy!
The staff was so nice, the building and rooms were clean, there was a clean stocked restroom with a changing table, and the doctor was nice too. It was empty and we waited 2.5-3 hours, which is normal for urgent care without an appointment. Then the prescription was sent under the wrong name so we spent all afternoon and evening trying to figure out what was going on. The sutter experience felt very transactional and not like a place that wants to help.
Denied care because my injury happened while I was in an uber for a work trip the day prior (although I traveled home and was going in the next day). My work’s employee safety line told me to go to ANY urgent care. Was in acute pain and not only coldly told I couldn’t be seen but was given zero options of how to get immediate healthcare on a Saturday. I got through to Urgent Care Westside by phone with minimal waiting. They gave me clear guidance on next steps. There was no wait when I arrived at the location. I was seen quickly and received excellent care and ample time from the doctor. The desk staff, and those providing the care were all kind, professional, light hearted, calming, and effective.
