The waiting time in the ER is unreal. I've been there more than once and it's always the same thing. I'm smart enough to know some of these things are out of their control, but seeing a staff frantically trying to get people in would ease my mind. When you're talking about waiting over six hours to be seen, it's not only frustrating, but frustrating to know that's really of no importance to the staff by their demeanor. They're in desperate need of an efficiency expert.
I come to this hospital all the time when I have an emergency but was disappointed this last visit! Came in with my 5 year old who had just experienced her first asthma attack because she was still struggling to breath and needed a breathing treatment. After seeing the triage nurse and her saying yes she's definitely going to need a treatment I was sent to the waiting room for 1 1/2 hours and still no call into a room. When I questioned how long it would be I was told I can't give a time because we are busy with transfers. A... read more
