Expect a long wait. Staff would rather gossip than tend to people in the check in line, and I imagine the same thing goes on in the back. I just watched an old woman have a panic attack wanting to check in while they sat around doing nothing.

​I was admitted to the ER for a blood transfusion yesterday, which lasted almost 6 hours. The level of care I received was exceptional. ​I want to specifically commend the nursing staff who attended to me. They were incredibly friendly, attentive, and ensured my comfort throughout the entire lengthy procedure. We visited the Sutter Roseville ER on Nov. 2, 2025. I couldn't say enough positive things about the experience. From security to front desk to nurses whose names I neglected to get. Dr. R. David Kovacik was exceptional. He was knowledgeable, he thoughtfully listened to our concerns and was very thorough. It was 4 AM so the ER was not busy so wait time was minimal. Thanks ER team. You're the best.
