Dr. Maile is my absolute favorite Acupuncturist in a long line of great Acupuncturists that I have worked with over the last twenty years. She listens to her patients with an amazing eye for details. Her warmth, kindness, and humor are what make her a wonderful doctor. Her knowledge of Chinese medicine has helped me to weather chronic pain, migraines, anxiety, and many other issues. I walked in with a major cold, couldn't breathe through my nose at all. One session with Dr. Maile and I can breathe! The office is warm and inviting and the treatment area is so calming, peaceful and relaxing, I even took a nap. It was my first experience with acupuncture and I will definitely be back, I made a follow up appointment for the next day to really get rid of the cold. It was painless and so easy. I have bursitis and degeneration of the right shoulder area ball/socket. My medical insurance wanted me to try alternative methods to opioids and/or surgery to replace my ball/socket. I had no idea if acupuncture would be effective, but after several visits, I am improving in my pain management. I look forward to seeing how much pain I can relieve with this method. The staff at the Chula Vista office are very informative and easy to deal with. I highly recommend this place!
