I tried Susie cakes for the first time today, it was delicious. I bought two of their standard cupcakes for about $10 which is typically how much you would spend at any other bakery competing with Susie Cakes. The cake itself is very spongy and the icing is light and airy with a good amount of sweetness. Im not sure why some reviewers are saying the cake is dry, unless they are putting it in the fridge for a snack later that would make more sense. But the cakes are anything but dry. Snickerdoodle cookie & Blueberry & Lemon Cake are pretty good.
SusieCakes never disappoints. I have not tasted anything here that I would not gladly order again. Everything is consistently fresh, flavorful, and expertly made. The Celebration Cake is truly the perfect cake for birthdays. SusieCakes has become my go to bakery for every celebration.
This is a great little bakery. There are various options. You can get cakes by the slice you can also get mini cupcakes. They also offer cookies, but we did not try any of those. There’s a great variety of options.
