I ordered a cake on Thursday for a birthday party on Sunday. Not only was the cake GROSSLY overpriced, but it was, without a doubt, the WORST cake I have ever tasted. Same on you

I purchased a 9inch marble cake for my husband's birthday today. I'd had it once before at a cousin's birthday party and it was delicious and moist at her party, however today's cake was so dry and hard to eat. I was so disappointed. After paying almost $70 for this cake I expected way more. I know cakes are frozen but there's a specific way to defrost them to retain the moisture. Tried this place for the first time a few weeks ago and came back today because they’re just that good! The cakes are delicious & so filling but what really stood out to me (both visits) was the friendless and customer service of the staff. Nevo, especially is an absolute rockstar! He is so welcoming, has such a happy & beautiful spirit and is very knowledgeable about the cakes and ingredients. A great value-add for Susie’s Cakes and a true gem! Keep up the great work Team Hillside Village!
