Sushi Heaven!! – This is a MUST for sushi lovers. Great food, service and location. This is my first review...that's how much I love it!
Conveniently located, exceptional yumminess – Right in the middle of suburbandom minimallness is a surprisingly nice little place to take in some top-notch fish. Very fresh and, besides the traditional items, there's always mreo than a few inventive items on the menu. The owners make it a fun experience, too.
Great food! – This place is the best! The sushi is great - from the traditional rolls to the inovative sushi zen original rolls, you're gonna find something you like. Don't feel like sushi? They have a full menu with cooked items too! I live in Seattle, but make the trip to Mill Creek just for this place.
Great dragon roll – Sushi Zen has a romantic atmosphere, so I recommend it for couples out on a date. The staff is also quite friendly. Sitting at the counter to get a good look at how the sushi is made by the chefs can be an interesting experience for those who are new to sushi restaurants. A personal favourite of mine was the Dragon Roll: avocado and eel on the outside wrapped around rice with shrimp tempura and vegetables on the inside. **************GREATEST EVER***************** – This is the place you want to eat everyday!! Taste is fantastic, chef/server are friendly! They make specials for your need even it is not on the menue. You feel you are special. They treat you special. Weekend is pretty busy, I recommend early weekday time or late time to have quality time there. 200% recommend!! You MUST go.
Rare find in Mill Creek, GREAT SUSHI – No more going to Seattle for great sushi, we now can stay in our neighborhood and still have excellent sushi. With the great selection of rolls it is hard to decide on which ones to order. We have not found one yet that we haven't liked. Sushi was very fresh. Service was excellent, fast and friendly.
just good. – it mite be a little overrated. sushi is just alright. quality of fish is just alright. nothing too special about it (unfortunatelY) i did hear a lot of praise about it though. they might need to redo the interiors. its too plain. food is just alright. you get what you pay for =]
ok, but Wasabi Factory in Everett has 'em beat, and is cheaper – I thought the sushi was good. I had the pumpkin roll, which i thought was ok. It was too mayonnaisey for my tatse. i had some sashimi which was good. But, I think the Wasabi Factory in Everett, near the Boeing factroy, is far better. You get more bbang for your buck. The sushi chef is Japanese and has worked in NY, LA and San Francisco. He serves high quality dishes with excellent presentation and taste, at a reasonable price.
45 Minutes and No Food – The first time I ate here, I wrote a glowing review. I retract it! The second time, the food was mediocre-soggy tempura, etc.. The third time, after waiting 45+ minutes for a simple order of three sushi rolls THE FOOD NEVER CAME! The waitress never even acknowledged the delay. It wasn't even that busy. Never again
