The Tuna wasnt that fresh and the miso was a bit weak. I guess that I am too used to East coast seafood.
Ordered the 18 piece sashimi that was pretty good. I also ordered a bowl of rice. It was sushi rice (sticky and sweet) but was expecting regular rice, not that big a deal but just not what I had expected. Didn't say anything. Ordered the Toro nigiri as well and the fish was good but the rice was warm and I just don't like warm rice with my Nigiri. Besides that, not bad.
Love this place! Everyone here is so nice and gives excellent service every time me and the bf come here. Sushi is super fresh and clean! We have been all over town looking for a good japanese/sushi place and this is the hot spot in Tucson!We are always traveling and trying to find gems everywhere we go and this is the first place we eat at when we come home! ^-^V
