Absolutely incredible meal each and every time. The most authentic Japanese culinary experience in town. Great drink list and not many places carry sea bream - this place always seems to have it. Signature sashimi plates are amazing. Don't know what to have? Go Omikase style and let the chef take care of it, he'll even pair the sake. Love this place!

A friend introduced me to Macku about a year ago. I now come to Macku once a month, sometimes more. I am always still surprised at how good their nigiri is and how fresh everything tastes. The consistency in flavors and quality is very well kept. Everything from their apps, sushi, to desserts are prepared with a lot detail. I would have to say Macku is easily the best sushi restaurant in Chicago.
