Food was delicious. I loved it. The staff is excellent.
My 1st time here and it was popping. Our waiter full of good energy and danced his butt off in between waiting tables ..he killed it ..music on point if you like latin and hip hop. Sushi was different from what im used to but still tasty ..and the shrimp dumpling appetizer a hit.
Service was bad and I'm not sure if it was because they had every table filled or lack of staff but we weren't served until 30 minutes had passed. We had to ask for water and the drinks we ordered came before the water. They needed help and it was obvious.
It was my first time there and I must say it was pretty chill. Compared to majority of venues in Washington Heights being "fake bougie" and expensive for no reason Sushi Mambo was decently priced and casual. Loved how the DJ didn't only play Spanish music. It was packed which I didn't mind but the service was slow. We had to keep gesturing with our hands for our waiter to come over. The food was great and so were the drinks. I'd go again.
