Often listed among the upper echelon of Atlanta's sushi restaurants, Sushi Huku delivers the freshest sushi in a fun and comfortable atmosphere. Traditional Japanese decor dominates the interior, where seating at the bar offers a perfect view of chef Hukusan's masterwork behind the glass. Menu favorites include the various rolls, nigri, sashimi, and other variations, many of which incorporate special personal twists of this fabulous sushi craftsman. A full range of Japanese sake and beer is available from the bar.

My husband and I went here today and we had a fabulous experience! Our service was great and most of our food was awesome. We love sushi, we've had sushi from Minneapolis, DC & Charleston. We have been to ATL 5 times and this was our best experience so far. We went there specifically for their sushi. We sat at the sushi bar, ordered 5 rolls and soup & salad came out within minutes. They have a ginger, lemon peanut vinaigrette as their dressing which was delicious! The miso soup was ok. We ordered the Hawaiian, Home Depot, Go... read more
Very rushed – Two of my friends and myself had a girls night out recently. We decide on Sushi Huku based on the rave reviews. We walk in and yes, it was crowded, but there were open tables. The greeter told us they were reserved for people with reservations. We asked to sit at the sushi bar which was completely open instead. As we sat down, the waitress comes over and screams NO NO NO SIT AT THE END! and ushers us next to the wall, all crammed together. I could not move my left arm because we were so crowded together next to... read more
best sushi in atlanta – i came to sushi huku and fell in love with sushi . try their omakase and you'll be back. kinda expensive but well worth it
I became a sushi lover... – I am really not a sushi fan, but when my sister brought me here, I became one. It's not just a few pieces of fish - it was art on a plate. The atmosphere was also definitely a plus.
Best in town – If you are looking for great food and great people you dont want to miss this place. 2nd oldest Japanese Rest in Atlanta. Rich in history and food
Fun place When on this side of town i make sure i stop by especially for their famous Sakies. You will be a happy person by the time you are done with a few shots.
great sushi – Great Sushi
Best sushi in Southeast US – Just by pure luck discovered Shushi-Huku in 2001. Since then ownership changed twice, and it is one of the oldest running restaurants in the area. The new crew brought this little jewel to it's highest standards since I became a believer. Jay-san (sushi-chef), Brendon-san (sushi-man), the kimono cladded hostesses: most lovely and witty Kathy-san and the inefable Aiko-san (the lady HAS a sense of humor) give this place an endearing touch, Always greeting patrons in and out with traditional enthusi... read more
awesome – The Chicken was so juicy and the Sushi was so good. The servings were great not to much but not to little.
