The sushi, sashimi and traditional Japanese food are amazing. This restaurant is quite authentic. Be prepared to wait, however. The philosophy of service is that they will not rush you. So, if you need the check or anything else, you'll have to ask....

Although the place and atmosphere was great, my friends and I were seated in the most awkward part of the restaurant, by one of its columns. I did not expect this because I called up earlier for reservation. Food was okay but quite pricey. Mostly ordered sushi, a noodle soup, and 2 small slices of Seabass that cost $28. It was also quite a long wait for our food to get served. I think it is better to come here when the place is not busy to get better service. We are so sorry you did not like the seat by the columns. Please let one of us know if ever you are not happy about your seat and we would be more than willing to move you to a more desirable spot. We pride ourselves on serving highest quality ingredients include homemade dashi broth the old Japanese style (rather than bonito powder similar to boullion cubes) and sushi that are made upon being ordered, using less sodium and zero MSG which surprisingly is a common practice at many Japanese restaurants. The restaurant is very nice. We tried two special rolls around $15 range. The presentations were good, the tastes were average. The sushi rice does not have enough flavor. The portion is a bit small for the $15 range.
