Amazing food, but felt scammed on the bill I visited Sushi by Bou in Jersey city last Saturday night for their 17‑course omakase, which is advertised at 150 dollars per person. I feel like shrinklfation def hit sushi by bou becouse the fish was thin and we walked out hungry even with secondary hand rolls. Been there years ago many times and it was much better value and honestly taste too. Both of us are tiny people too I’m like 120 pounds lol, but we went for another place for food after.
I sticked to the 12 course omakase and was very happy with the quality and taste!
My friend and I stumbled into this place looking for a casual bite and ended up with one of the best sushi experiences I’ve ever had, they were able to host us even though we didn’t have a reservation and our chef CJ walked us through the omakase experience and delivered like 10/10 sushi. The drinks were also incredible. Highly recommend. Will definitely be back. Intimate atmosphere, fun vibes. No notes.
