I just got my haircut here for the first time and it was great. Sushada really paid attention to what I wanted and you can tell she really is an expert (she’s been cutting hair since 1977!) I will definitely come back :)
I went in for a change of hair color and a haircut and I went out with a WOW transformation! Sushada took care of me during the process, making sure to explain every step as well as listening to what I wanted (based on the pictures/style i have sent her for inspiration). She got my dream hair color! Overall I will come back! Thank you Sushada!
Sushada recently styled my hair for an event and did such a beautiful job. My hair is very fine and difficult to curl and give volume to. Sushada was able to add waves and body that lasted all night - I’ve never received so many compliments. Thank you!
It took me 20 years of living in DC before I found "my" stylist, and it is Sushada! I'm so happy I found her. Previous stylists played it safe and gave me basic, boring cuts. Sushada understands my hair (thin and slightly wavy) and knows instinctively how to give it shape. The layers look great whether I style it or not. It also grows out gracefully, which I appreciate because I am bad at maintaining cuts. I hope she is around to do my hair for a very long time!
I've never written a review for Shushada before, but this woman has been cutting my hair for close to 10 years. I found her online, and prayed that she would help fix the worst haircut of my life (from a popular, high end salon around Eastern Market) that left me with a 1970 Paul McCartney mullet. Not only did she fix things, but she managed to tame my big, frizzy, wavy hair. When I lived in DC, I would only get one haircut a year and it was with Shushada.
