She is kind and attentive. Asked a lot of questions and wanted to address any concerns. She was very pragmatic in her approach and very much western medicine focused, which is her training. So, she seems great, although may not be a great fit if you are looking for a more wholistic approach.
Dr Schiff is the best. She really listens to you and explains things in a way that you can understand. My husband, my sister and I have been going to Dr Schiff for 10 years and wouldn’t go anywhere else.
I agree. Phone calls go to the fax screaming in one’s ear! Then they’re too busy to answer, after all the beginning messages we have to listen to, now they hang up and tell you to call later! Tried to get into Mychart, couldnt, so called 2 different phone numbers, who both couldn’t find me in the system. Yes, their office system is a mess! Assistants record incorrect info in ones medical file. Too bad. as Dr. Schiff is very nice.
Dr. Schiff has been my doctor for more than fifteen years. I am very confidant with her advice and feel very fortunate that she accepts me as a patient. I actually feel that she cares about me personally and guides me to not only enhance my health but my overall well being as well. My experience with the staff behind the counter has been both exceptional and disappointing. It appears that the weak spots have been corrected. I would recommend her health care to both my family and my dearest friends. Thank you Dr. Schiff.
While Dr. Schiff is a caring, competent doctor, the way the overall office is run, and the competency of the support staff, leaves much to be desired. Phone calls are answered by a fax tone at times, phone messages go unanswered, and the patient must therefore be the one who makes sure that things get done. Not a good way to run a doctor's office. Leaving messages and then having to call back, sometimes multiple times, to get the answer needed, is no way to run a doctor's office.
Dr. Schiff has been my mom's doctor for several years. She is welcoming, approachable, kind, and really seeks to find out what may be occurring! Even though my mom has several medical issues, she is skilled at figuring out the main issue. I can't say enough positive things about Dr. Schiff. She is a great doctor!
While Dr. Schiff is pleasant to work with and is attentive to medical needs, the office staff seems to be under staffed leading to incorrect billing/insurance issues. Often time lab work is coded incorrectly and is not resolved in a timely manner, leading to us having to pay incorrect lab bills. Prescriptions are often refilled incorrectly and take days to weeks to be refilled. We are seriously contemplating leaving this practice and going else where.
