After having seen her and honestly not having been at all happy with my care, and her seeming to be quite scattered yet having a very high opinion of herself and constantly dropping names of people who supposedly are 'something' to be associated with, the reviews here that are so highly esteemed actually sound just like her during our visit.

Dr. Marra is awesome!! I hug her every time I leave and am always greatful. For the past two decades, my mother must have run up $1M in medical from major hospitals, neurosurgery, joints removed, bones fused, shut in her head and dr's top specialists - seriously - paid by insurance. Dr Marra is an awesome Dr. She has saved my family! She is educated and by far the top Lyme Dr in the Seattle area. All naturalpaths use supplements. Supplements are necessary to help the body heal from Lyme disease. She works with me within my budget. I tell her what I can afford, and she prescribes exactly that. She has her own supplement line which is based on years and years of treating and curing people with Lyme. I've quit seeing her after months with her and getting no where. Most poignant is that at practically every visit (sometimes if lucky every other visit) - and the visits are every month (I'm fine with that), she would switch practically my entire protocol of supplements - of course to new ones that I'd have to purchase from her and each time - it averaged about $800 dollars worth of supplements on top of the visit. Dr. Marra has been a god-send for my son & I. Her compassion and knowledge have given us hope after 18 yrs of crippling suffering. She asks you to purchase her supplements after your first visit so that she can see how your body reacts to the ingredients specific to those formulas. She is scary. She was so high strung and frenetic during my first and ONLY appointment with her that I have no confidence in returning to her. In addition she wanted me to purchase supplements (all of them) from her ONLY, and wanted hundreds of dollars out of pocket of various tests? In trying to get a copy of the bill for this visit, to try to get SOME insurance coverage for my visit with her - it took her weeks to get it to me. I would not recommend her to anyone.
