I have been going to Dr Marra for two years. Yes she is a bit kooky at times but so right on when it comes to treatment. She has never pushed me to buy her supplements as she knows that cost is an issue. Yes it is expensive to go to her BUT she is putting her life/job on the line by treating Lyme. She is not a touchy feely type Dr so if that is what you are looking for then look elsewhere. (Good luck finding another Lyme dr!) She is all about facts and needs you to follow her plan to a t. She wants you to get better and the ... read more

Dr. Marra has been an answer to prayer. Her expertise and experience is exactly what the 4 members of our family needed. In our 7 months with her, she has given us hope in her diagnosis and treatment, when we had none. 5 years of medical testing left us with many unanswered questions. However in our first meeting, she was able to diagnose and develop a treatment plan that resulted in many positive changes. Each meeting since, she has refined her treatment plan to specifically address our families medical changes and with eac... read more

Dr. Marra is a wonderful doctor. I've been to many, and she is by far the most knowledgeable. Others say, "Because you have this and that, lets try this," or, if you have lyme, "It's all in your head. Go see a psychiatrist." Dr. Marra is lyme-literate, and very helpful. I improved in two months while hearing about some lyme patients taking over 3 years of treatment to see any improvement. She also referred me to a lyme-literate neuro-specialist to see if I could get more help than she could offer. Yes, she's eccentric and so... read more

I have been a patient of Dr. Marra's for over 3 years. I have been sick for nearly 10 years, and have been to countless doctors, had numerous tests, and been through numerous treatment protocols over the years to no avail. Dr. Marra has been a Godsend. It wasn't until I began working with Dr. Marra, that my health improved dramatically, so much so, that I am nearly 100% again. Dr. Marra takes the time to listen to her patients, and formulate a treatment protocol specifically tailored to your needs. Dr. Marra keeps up with th... read more

I was very disappointed with Dr.Mara. I have seen many doctors for my son, and I can only think of one other clinic we were treated so poorly. The charges were $345 per visit, no matter how much time she spends with you. During our last visit (we had been there twice)she spent about 15 minutes, told us she could not help us in a very abrasive way, and then charged me $345 for that! Then, when I asked to have my records copied, her "office policy" is to charge $25 for that "service." During this last visit she also told her r... read more

This is my third year in treatment. I was losing my ability to walk, having terrible balance problems, and numb from my waist to my toes when I began seeing Dr. Marra in May 2008. I am very impressed with her medical knowledge and skills. I respect her very much. She monitors my symptoms and the progress that I am making at every appointment. She can tell what is working and if my treatment program needs to be changed or modified so that I will continue to make progress. She is very kind and does everything that she can to h... read more

Dr. Marra has made it possible for both my kids to live normal lives. As I am typing this, my daughter is practicing her dance team choreography. She dances 7 hours a week, and is preparing for a competition. Just a couple years ago, she could not walk longer than one block without triggering a Lyme flare. For her, that meant sudden shin, sole, stomach, and head pain so bad, it stopped her in her tracks. She had to relearn how to ride a bike, run, and do typical gym activities. Dr. Marra chose to take on her very complex cas... read more
