Really sorry to have to say this, as I had high Hope's given her supposed expertise in childhood PTSD- if you think you are the medical text book perfect case study, she might be able to help you. She seemed to regard her diagnosis and psychiatry textbooks-- as well as Google search-- to be the Holy Bible. Unfortunately, she lacked the cognitive ability to, and possibly also all interest in, integrate into her thinking the words I uttered. Walking into therapy nearly 2 years ago, I had a couple of big fears: 1) identifying as a weak person; 2) being told I required anti-depressants. If it weren’t for Dr. Kinkead’s disposition, empathy, compassion, style, I might not have stayed the course because of these fears. Dr. Kinkead is a really exceptional doctor and therapist. My life has changed pretty dramatically since beginning therapy. I have gained tools, knowledge, self understanding/acceptance/compassion/empowerment, and healing. This is medicine at it's best!

Absolutely! They aren't arrogant at all and are more than willing to pursue advice when necessary Was this provider late to your appointments? Not at all, I showed up early and they were ready to see me Does this provider remember you by name? Every single time, even if it's been months since my last appointment!!
