Dr Hill takes all the time you need to explain everything. She writes down notes for you, so you leave with reminders. Her staff helps you with all of the ancillary planning. I recommend her in a heartbeat.
Like the previous commenter, I would also suggest you get a second opinion. Also, when I was her patient, the office didn't take calls after regular business hours. There was no answering service, just a recording telling you to go to the ER.
You called to set up an appointment with this specific doctor but you had to leave a message. Her Assistant called and took your name and birthdate as if to set your appointment but after seeing your name, she then told told you that this particular doctor does not accept new patients. Her Assistant was also trained to inform you that the PD center would decide on what nephrologist to contact for you rather than you would have a choice to choose your own neprhologist to care for your PD at his/her affiliated Clinic.
