However, as soon as I mentioned using insurance, they tried to mislead me, claiming the doctor listed under my plan wasn’t actually available. Dr Surprenant has been my dentist for >20 years. He it’s a relaxed, nice person and has taken great care of mine and my husband’s teeth. His recommendations are up to date but also reflect the wisdom of long practice. His office staff is really nice and they file your insurance for you. You need to make checkup appointments way ahead of time, but that’s good because then it’s on your calendar in advance and you don’t miss a checkup. I strongly recommend Dr Surprenant.
Dr. Suprenant is my goto dentist since the 12 years I've been living in DC. I've had a few emergencies over the years and his staff always helped me get the (urgent)care I needed. Highly recommend
Friendly, caring, and thoughtful staff. They make the unpleasantry of a dentist visit as pleasant as possible.
