He does not seem to care about mother or fetus. Extremely dismissive. No regard for mother's mental/emotional well-being. Says high bp, extreme abdominal pain, feet so swollen you cannot put crocks on are all normal and 'nothing to get excited about' at 23 weeks pregnant. Extreme vitamin deficiency, IBS, and malabsorption issues to the point of ketosis and dehydration are from 'not eating enough' despite eating more than ever. 'eat a protein bar' Yea, hadn't thought of that... Thanks for nothing.
He's wonderful and so is his entire staff!! I read a very negative review and I have to say that often a bad experience is in part the fault of or misunderstandings by the patient. I've never known Dr to do anything he didn't feel was necessary. My experiences with him have all been exceptional! He's friendly and has a personality that makes you feel totally at ease. I wouldn't go to anyone else.

Luckily my first baby I saw mostly midwives who were great! The few times I saw surosky he was eh. But he delivered my daughter and all was fine. 5 years later after a procedure and him mocking me I had a totally different opinion. When I joked back to him, he did not like it and refused to see me once I got pregnant nor would he prescribe me meds I needed to sustain that pregnancy. We lost our baby. Refuse to ever go there again!
I utilized the TTWHT Midwives for my pregnancy/birth. They were wonderful and professional. I was able to meet Dr. Surosky, but luckily the baby was born at the Arnot Hospital without too much fuss. The midwives assisted me and gave me the time I needed to give birth to my first baby after a very long labor.
