So I'm a little biased, but I love the Wench! I'm the show director of the Drag Show VAMP! Every first Thursday at 10pm. I love my bartenders they are the sweetest and spiciest gals I know! This bar is amazing with customer service and always makes sure I feel welcomed when it's my show or just on a Tuesday for a great comedy show! <3 Thanks Surly Wench for all you do!!
If it weren't for the drink prices I would rate it much higher, but it really makes a dent in your pocket. Which is a shame because the cover charge and food prices are reasonable. The atmosphere and staff are also quite pleasant.
An amazingly mysterious and eerie place to visit while on 4th avenue. The sweetest bartenders in Tucson as long as you're not an asshole ;) all of this PLUS a little late night restaurant. Nothing in Tucson can compete with this.
I love The Wench! I never feel judged; instead the feelings of acceptance and welcoming from the bar tenders is amazing. She always remembers my drink of choice. The music is great, dance floor could be a bit bigger, but they've made great use of limited space. The food is yummy! I would definitely recommend The Surly Wench!

It's a great club the best I've seen in Tucson. The music is good at least on the Fineline night that I've been there and the people are great and interesting.
Great place, great surroundings, great food, great dance, great bands, great festivity... Somewhat on the Goth side, so if you don't like that kind of thing---well too bad I do!..
