I was referred to this clinic to have a hiatal hernia repair. Tests were ordered and completed and when I thought the surgery was going to be scheduled I was told Dr. Weiland wouldn’t do the surgery unless I lost at least 20 pounds. Wow, if I had been told that initially I could have been working on that. Why wait till I’m thinking the problem is going to be solved? Very good surgeon as well as a very good person!
Willey fixed a hernia and after waiting to ensure I was good the first time I did something just a bit strenuous I ended up with what would be two hernias right above the area he worked on. Unfortunately I got stuck with him for that repair and AGAIN ended up with another hernia right where he was working and this time the way he submitted it the surgery was billed at $5k more than the same surgery from before. Fortunately for this repair I've moved out of the area and the referral won't go to him but I'm definitely asking t... read more
