I can't believe this incompetent, loud-mouthed, self-aggrandizing buffoon is still inflicting pain, suffering and death. He did a simple surgery - thyroid - on me and I've been left with intense, lifelong pain. Karma awaits this senile pretended. One-star only because you have no place for "Zero".
Dr. Issis is an assent to the medical profession. He has performed 6 surgeries on me, from veins in my legs to four hernias, and internal infection. His honesty and bedside manner is astounding. I’m going in this winter for more vein problems. Dr. Issis explains the surgery before he does it and prepares you for the recovery. His name is well known in this area of Alabama. He has a kindness many doctors don’t have. Plus he says a prayer for every patient he operates on. He’s wonderful.
Dr Issis removed my gallbladder and did a liver biopsy at the same time. Hands down the most caring doctor I've used in a long time. Took his time explaining everything. He was wonderful!

Dr. Moeliinger removed my thyroid, and Dr. Issis removed my appendix a year later. Hands down the BEST doctors. Both doctors went ABOVE and BEYOND. Excellent communication skills, and superb bedside manners. Cannot say one thing bad, just Excellent doctors.
Terrific doctor! I can't say enough great things about Dr. Issis. He removed my gallbladder a couple of weeks ago & I didn't realize how much pain I was in prior until now. He took his time explaining everything to me. I was referred to him by a nurse friend & to be honest I was hesitant at first bc I typically go to St Vincent's for everything. However, I'd absolutely go to Med West again. Everyone I dealt with from the nurses to the radiology techs were so kind & helpful. Wonderful experience!
Dr. Issis agreed to see me on very short notice I had seen a doctor in the Bristol TN area. He had me so confused and worried. Dr. Issis could not even make sense of the report I had been given so he took the time to personal review my films. He assured me everything was ok and was even able to help explain why I was having the problems. I would highly recommend the 7 hour drive to see him.
