Total turn off as soon as I greeted the receptionist. Not one bit of customer service skill.Wanted to turn around and leave if it was possible. She was not welcoming nor did she make me feel appreciated. She reminded me of a grocery cashier that has been standing behind a register for 8 hours without a smoke break. On a positive note, EVERYONE else was GREAT!!! My 1 star is only for the receptionist. I’ll give 6 stars to everyone I made contact with after that. The medical care itself was fine—the doctors did their job well. Unfortunately, the billing department has been an ongoing nightmare. I was overcharged by several hundred dollars, and trying to get that corrected has been extremely frustrating. I’ve called multiple times over the past few weeks and was initially told my refund check had already been sent. I had surgery here. Was a pretty terrible experience. From the start, the staff made me feel as though I was bothering them. Like it was annoying to check me in and answer questions. After being checked in, I was taken to pre-op where, I kid you not at all, there was blood on the floor. I took a photo. I should have just left. I told the nurse about it and she said it was from the last IV and that someone should have cleaned it up. No one ever did. It stayed there.
