They gave me an estimate then tried to charge me more than double what I prepaid for surgery. I pre-paid 1700 and they sent a bill for 1800. They said the estimate given to me was with a different code. That sounds like a them problem. I filed a complaint with cms.gov. I asked for an emailed copy of the estimate to upload with my complaint and they never emailed it. Theyre being shady because they know it is wrong. I flat out told them i am refusing to pay that. Superb facility with very efficient friendly staff. Highly recommended if you have the need.
The preoperative nurse was not a good listener. The recovery nurse put my sling on under my shirt instead of over my shirt which is wrong protocol but it was easier for him so that's what he did.
Here is where my ortho performed my Hip Replacement. So, I had no choice. They treated me WONDERFULLY. I would show up a couple of minutes early - but never waited. Andy was my Pre-Op test nurse. And he was out calling for me, before I could really sit down. He and I are parents, so we chatted it up. Andy worked that needle with perfect precision. He was done before we were done talking. My 5 year old son recently had surgery here with Valley ENT. The surgery center staff is very help and kind. My son was very nervous, and they did a great job with him. The facility was very clean and was much less stressful than a traditional hospital. I would be. repeat customer and recommend to other patients.
