SurgOne has terrible billing practices. The doctor was good, but like others have mentioned, I got a suprise bill for a 30 second diagnostic. I even asked in office what I owed and was only told about the copay. Insurance covered some, but not all due to the extreme price ($307) charged. An anoscopy (CPT 46600) in CO averages $77 to $150. According to SurgOne Self-Pay Pricing that I found after paying the bill, an anoscopy is $184.71, so they are gouging people with insurance. Dr. Mandalou was fantastic. Cautious in his approach and helpful. I would definitely go to him for surgery. The issue comes in his choice of hospital affiliation. He uses Swedish for his big surgeries. Swedish is a disaster. They lose meds, don’t answer the call button, you cannot get a hold of your medical doctor ever, they say they are looking into something and are concerned about a lab result, and the next minute the nurse is kicking you out. Felt at ease w 1st visit

Utter waste of my time coming into this appointment. Surgeon didn't have all the information, and didn't do a single thing to help my problem. Go elsewhere
