About this business
Although Larry retired in 2012, his children have taken up his apron and currently run the establishment. The seafood and choice meats are carefully inspected so that only the finest selections make it into the kitchen and onto visitor's plates. Enjoy mouth-watering salmon, oysters Rockefeller, sea scallops, and even jumbo shrimp in real beer batter. With sirloin in our name, the menu wouldn't be complete without the choicest USDA prime cuts of meats

it was okay . . . – My scallops were "crunchy" (think they forgot to rinse out the sand?). The grouper was tasty. Our server thought he was working at Applebees or Red Robin. Fortunately, my water glass stayed filled. Definitely will not return.
Live Jazz a great addition – Have a great steak and listen to some nice jazz. The restaurant recently started a Wed/Fri live jazz. This has been a nice addition.
great dinner – We visited Surf and Sirloin on Saturday night. It was busy, but our server never forgot about us. And the food, well, it was outstanding! I have never eaten better lamb chops or filet (with awesome bernaise sauce!) anywhere in St. Loius. We had no children in our party, but the children's part of the menu was unlike any I have seen anywhere- how great to include gourmet selections for kids! Excellent PRIME Steak! – A Mouth Watering Experience! Surf & Sirloin's PRIME Filet was spectacular! This was one of the BEST steaks I've ever had! For an appetizer, I reccomend their Shrimp Tempura. It was quite fabulous. The shrimp were absolutely delicious and HUGE! A must for an appetizer! Definitely a dinner to remember!
