It is so sad, my children has been coming here to see Dr. Bennett as well as others for several years now. However, recently, with the changes from surf kids pediatric to coastal kids, I am not sure why but the administrative team seem to be having difficulty verifying insurance plan. We waited over 30 mins; despite having Blue Shield HMO (I have a medical card that proves it too ). Two pediatricians have left after Coastal Kids took over and the vibes of the office are grim. We were assured our second pediatrician would remain and she is now leaving. The beloved puffer fish was literally dead in the tank being blasted by a jet for all the kids to see. If you can’t take care of a fish, I don’t have much hope for the care my kids will receive. It’s obvious the remaining staff is very unhappy, and I don’t trust whatever is happening there with people (and fish) that we’ve known for years suddenly dropping... read more
Our normal pediatrician was unavailable, Dr Pepek, so we saw a new Dr. & we weren’t impressed. She prescribed antibiotics for no good reason for 2 weeks & told us to come back for a referral if it didn’t resolve. I never picked up antibiotics, nor will see that Dr again.
