DO NOT MOVE INTO THE FIRST FLOOR. Cheap management puts no effort into sound proofing the floor above. We lived underneath a family with multiple kids and 3 dogs. We barely get any sleep. I can literally hear them peeing In the bathroom. They put in no carpet so you will hear every step, every closet door, and constant squeaking of the floorboards. Currently terrible because of the tenants in 136 who have a dog that barks non stop for 20+ minutes day and night and the owners do nothing about it. If management can do something about this I would consider raising the stars
CROOKS! The owners are having people's cars illegally towed! Especially their own tenants. Happened to my friend, his car was snatched within the first 2 minutes, and when he complained, the owners defended the tow company. He's now out $400 cause of them. Orange County Law states cars that are towed, cannot exceed a 10 mile radius, the tow yard they use is 12 miles away in Los Alamitos, so they're breaking the law along with it.
Avoid The Breakwater in Huntington Beach at all costs. My apartment was infested with cockroaches, making it legally uninhabitable, yet management ignored repeated complaints and failed to provide proper pest control. Their lack of action shows a blatant disregard for health, safety, and California tenant law. When I moved out, they attempted to charge me excessive and unexplained fees from my security deposit.
