Melvena is professional, punctual & one of the best in the DMV! From permed to natural styles, ponytails, weaves & custom color she is an amazing hair stylist who knows how to keep my hair healthy & always looking good!

Cancelled at the last minute and did not have an option for reschedule. I asked the owner if she could do the braids, and the only answer I got was " We can no longer service you as a client. Please do not contact us." My daughter has senior pictures this week and her hair will not be done unless I find another solution. Very poor customer service! No options for cancellations!

I have been see Mel and Roe for years! I have even traveled from Upstate New York back to Virginia just to see them! I have yet to let anyone touch my hair. Mel has been doing my full sewn in's she has colored my hair, recommended what type of hair I should purchase. Above everything these ladies have helped my hair grow amd helped me to maintain it. Roe has always been there to give me those box braids when I was inbetween styles. The appreciation that I have for SSS is beyond words! I love them and would gladly reccomend!
